totally meaningless
by abcd efg on Sep 30, 2009 02:01 AM  | Hide replies

Merely doing these things does not make any real difference to 'real' India. Those who are actually working, are silently doing their work and dont have time for all this media talk. Many NGOs have now made a business out of charity just like venture capital funding.
Providing computers where there is no electricity, teaching ingliss where there is no food, giving lectures which have no real meaning or relevance, faking documents and fooling people all in the name of philanthropy. Following your own heart is when we make decide to make personal sacrifices for well being of others, when we empower them to compete with ourselves. Charity is done neither for personal gratification or guilt, nor out of pity. And sorry to say, but this article is all cooked up.

hi ab,

it all depends on once's perception developed over the years to express about right or wrong, what is right or wht is wrong will never be reached but few lines of appreciation will work and will be a matter of inspiration for those who are not indulged in thinking meekly. So why to pollute ourself or cooked or uncooked, yes what u had said is absolutely correct, but let the sunlight be reached to all whether it be kept in food or seeing computer.

Wake up....I think Hindutva has just divided society. May sound harsh but my apologies. If you do not have acceptance for each other how can you dream of united developed strong India. You may not appreciate what I say and that is the problem. Our India is great, I wonder in what context.

Yes man,u r right in your words but only for the indians no the country. This is the country where a lad of 13 can put his life to death for the service and this will continue with all the corruption,as ve and -ve are natural manure for every country, remember words of jefferson--the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patiots and tyrants as both are its natural manure. The era of development has begun, not to worry things will surely be good in coming years...as the people like you have raised the voice with time these will not only remain the voices these will be converted to hard work..then this country will again be like sone ki chidiya...do you know what sone ki chidiya means..?it means earlier in india everyone was having the gold equal to the weight of bird with them..i.e all the indians were having the savings to purchase gold.Right now we are fighting for food...the pool of politicians currently are no doubt siiting on seat of power with delivering meagre % of their energy.Time will only cure all the ills, the good thought produced has its implications, things will change but slowly as we are more talkative than taking words at our own house to make the things better.Good luck whosover will break the jinx and come to make the country. We have lots of things to do....working for environment,rivers,communities..so .on.Even for years we havenot worked that much to clean river like ganga...what's on a note when the will to work is dampening..
