Yesterday it was Mr.Pawar saying - "He will step down and give young party workers a chance to work for country" Young party workers means - sons/daughters and relatives of current old corrupt politicians. Tomorrows funny headline in India will be from Mr.Dhoni - " We lost the game and are out of Champions Trophy but no worries we enjoyed the game" - If you want real enjoyment play near your house with little kids - International cricket is for competition not for enjoyment dear.
My god ! Barkha dutt geting the award for the best media icon. She is the reason I dont watch NDTV. Shameful. will i get a legal notice for this from her ?

I agree with you -- in fact she compromises ethics under the cloak of 'freedom of press'. Both the kargil and the Mumbai attack episodes are examples...journalism is losing its sensibility as it is moving towards adventurous sensationalism...not a really worthy recepient...

U r right anurag..its the same with the ..in a talk show its she who keeps talking ,she never lets others finish and finally forces her view while making a conclusion.
These so called selected personalities are from film industry, what about other than this so called dirty??? There is large society around and many can show really inspirational ways to followers, what about them?
Please highlight the achievements of those millions of youth who are doing jobs as armed personnel, doctors, bankers. It professionals, administrative services officers etc as they are the ones who contribute to the better of society. What has Hritik / Ash contributed to our millions of poor people??

correct...plz brng sme doctors,engineers,teachers who slog for hours..espeically docs who really dnt get gud respect in india compared to other countries.indian docs r more efficient whohandle lots of patients at one go, face stupid politicians n relatives,hv to b available for 24 hrs n yet whn go on strike hv to face lathi charge...whta shame.n stupid janta selct these dancin dolls as icons.wht hv they dne for country
May i ask the respected readers what does these film actress contributed to the upliftment of our country except being famous faces in film world. Is this the category to choose the youth icon. Let us pray for the juris to have a wider view of the said subject.

Yes, I appreciate someone has the guts to stand up and ask the question.Who all are these film stars ?An Icon means,someone has the leadership qualities, who evoke reverence,a roll model,someone who responds to social obligations.Now you judge what these filmy bipeds have any of the qualities aforesaid so that they desrve to tbe Icon of the year.Icons !My bloody foot. They are not Icon of the year but iconoclast of the year.
