This govt is just doing the show business. They want to tell us that our young generation should join acting profession only.
who decides it? how it is formed? what makes encashing(65/- for popcorn) through multiplex on booming IT population better entrepreneur then anyone else.
The award should be given to people who have done some service to the country. But actors actress have made just money and in turned entertained us. What is the criteria for youth. This lady is 37 and you call her youth Icon.

exactly what I wanted to say. I would be ok with sports stars. but actresses and politicians-not a good role model.

There is no such plan for rewarding scientists, doctors, engineers, professors, lectures, teachers, farmers, NGOs etc.
wat have they done for our country? they have just entertained us and made money for themselves.i dont understand why such wazszte people are role model for youth

bindra and the founder of NGO are the only ones worthy of this award. it would have been nice if the award was given to some ordinary indian
