Smita Patil was my favourite actress though I was very young to understand the depth of roles she conveyed. Part of it definitely was because I share my name and the numerical value of my complete name with her. My 11th birthday (13th December) turned out to be extremely sad when mid-way through celebrations, Smita Patil's sudden demise was announced. Till date I remember her on my birthday...but only today I also realised that 13th December happens to be the birthday of Prateik as well. It's a bitter sweet feeling sharing her loss and Prateik's birthday on 13th.
i am a great fan of smita patil not for being an actress but because she was the only who could play such roles in such a manner that left behind history. her son looking like her and i wish him a rich future .
