Re: KangresMediaBlackout:Mirraj Ryots as Ganesh idols desecrated
by sameer bhogwat on Sep 11, 2009 02:30 AM
My apologies if this post is irritating readers, But If media including rediff doesnt post an article on it AT ALL, where do I post this.

Anyone who thinks I am being unreasonable, should watch that video. Then lets see if you think sucha news item should be suppressed.

BTW, the local reporters that shot this video HAVE BEEN ARRESTED.
Imagine how television media would have reacted if this had happenned in a non-Kangress ruled state.

Are we supposed to know only those things that KangressiMedia will allow us to know?
Isnt internet supposed to be the medium that cant be easily controlled by a totalitarian corrupt government?

FOR 1 FULL WEEK 4 MAJOR TOWNS IN MAHARASHTRA ARE UNDER CURFEW (MIRAJ, KOLHAPUR, ICHALKARANJI, SANGLI), YET NOBODY IN THE COUNTRY KNOWS ABOUT IT

If police is going to be MUTE SPECTATORS while extremists plant PAK FLAGS on police jeeps (see video on link given above), it goes to show WHAT IS THE MORALE OF POLICE in Kangress ruled states is.
After all they dont want to risk their careers by taking action. Then who will maintain law & order??

INDIA IS SLOWLY BECOMING KANGRESS-OWNED PRIVATE COMPANY & EVEN EDUCATED INDIANS DONT SEEM 2 CARE.

If you care, plz find emails of ndtv, cnn-ibn, aaj-tak, star-news, zee-news & email them why they are blacking out this news item

see,..boss I am aware, and since u wrote this,..obviously u are aware of that too.
The truth is:- We Indians are damn idiotic kinda, n we cant help it at all.
if there would have been News about that communal there would have been more violence.
So my dear fellow, I request you to have a little bit sense and not to talk too much nonsense.
Stop blaming any govt, so what exactly you want to know? all the media should publish all those tragical photos?
or you want to create another BABRI MAsjit scene in India??

What level of journalism
by Jitesh Agrawal on Sep 10, 2009 06:00 PM  | Hide replies

There is drought in the country, there is rampant corruption at all levels in the country, the food prices have gone through the roof and the government simply does nothing and many more and the biggest news of rediff is "Sehwag walking the ramp"...... we are doomed more by all the media rather then the policians and burecrats as media is equally responsible for not reporting and questioning all these

Boss, every newspaper or media reports the drought situation, corruption or anything newsworthy, commodity prices going up, but does it mean that only those news need to be reported? Then by the same argument, we should do away with all forms of entertainment, be it sports, music, tv or cinema. Would u agree to it? Sure i am not bothered whether sehwag is walking the ramp or not. But don't criticise for the sake of criticising.

Everyone including Rediff is here to make money. Thats the main motive of all of us. Rediff has identified its audience and feeds them with the news and articles that they like. If Jitesh Agrawal does not like it then he can stop visiting Rediff.

it appears to be a regular feature of cricket players making a model out of them. they earn lot of money and open chain of restaurants, move in swanky cars.has any cricketer ever thought about taking up a cause of reviving dying sports like hockey or if they have raised questions on poor cricket infracstructure and facilities in small towns.

Why should a cricketer think abt hockey or grounds. Indian government is associated with hockey federation and cricket has respective boards.

Hockey federation took 20 long years before introducing astro turf pitches and that too in few cities.

Though Hyderabad and Bangalore do not boast of great hockey culture, they still have 4 dedicated Astro Turfs..

Its upto the respective state federations to have maximum stadiums of hockey to be converted to astro turf for better results.

BTW the game is changing very fast, with other countries picking latest training methods and techniques, India cannot continue in the old fashioned manner.
