and we have been institutionally ignoring it for centuries :-)

Sanskrit was a language suitable to computers because the Germans said it was.

Turmeric and Tulsi are great because Americans patented them and someone among us fought back.

Dr. Hargobind Khurana was great because Americans gave him a Nobel

Gandhi and Nehru are still called traitors in spite of the whole world respecting them with proof

And Sachin Tendulkar is a useless old selfish player in spite of every bowler losing sleep over getting him out.

This is India!!!

Very rightly said buddy...but I guess just make a note of it as a reminder..No need to exaggarate things...I also like you are an equal proud Indian but here discussion is not for contending who's who or who did what first. Article just give a information and take it as an information. There will be several others for whom this info will be new.

Ayurveda pre-dates the traditional Chinese system of medicine by at least half a millennium. Susruta's treatise is of around 2600 BCE, and even describes advanced surgical procedures. The earliest date for the simplest Chinese texts are no earlier than 2000 BCE.

It is suggested and proved that food should not be eaten after Sunset. So it is advisable to complete dinner latest by 7 Pm with not more than 2-3 pulkas and plenty of Greens/Salads. Strictly no polished white rice.

Even Doctors say not to skip dinner.

In a citi like Mumbai, people reach at home at 9.00 PM and they have their Dinner at 10.

Food at any time is allowed. If you wake up at 2.00 am and don't get sleep, just put on your TV and start eating some snacks, busicuits or apple and you would have sound sleep.

If money is a problem, then also you can enjoy eating by Rolling 3-4 Roties with Achar or Chatni.
Have some Chana, Parle G, but eat with full of enjoyment without fearing of any oonsequences.

Who says Ghee has Cholestrol?
Moreover, even Doctors say there are good cholestrol and Bad Cholestrol. They also say that some cholestrol is required for the Body. So why to worry. Eat whatever you like and enjoy life without any fear.
