Beware russian medical degres are not valid & recognised in India. Also the fact those who cant secure a medical seat in India (because of poor percentage)go to russia by paying huge sums of money(black money of course).

Simple Solution Attention - Parents & Students
by yele on Oct 28, 2009 11:53 AM  | Hide replies

1.      Father or parents who is earning or has already earned money by corruption, Bribe etc and now spending money to get a certificate from Australian Universities for his child should understand that money generated by corruption will give punishment to them through their Children.
2.      Parents should teach their children about Values, culture, respect for Woman, Girl, respect for Elders, discipline in society such as be in queue at bus stop, railway station, bank and ATM center etc.
3.      Parents should also tell their children not to act as Filmy Style, Not to speak loudly on mobile while at public place or during driving car or taxi. And also parents should give money with minimum requirement otherwise children will go to pub and dancing bar again they will forget their discipline which may cause of concern.
4.      In the last Parents must tell his child before living India that all points above if you do not follow in India than no problem it will do BUT IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW these instruction aboard then you will be in Problem as other part of worlds not like Third world country India.
For sure I can guarantee that no body will kick your ass in Australia or anywhere.

I dont where Mr Yele come from & also how his mum/dad made their money from, Just FYI if u compare the world barring western Europe/North America/Australia/Japan ..India is much better in terms of most of factors. There must be some bad apples around . Also there are as many self made Indians than corrupt ones.Parents are not the only ones to teach, its the PERSON!If your parents taught you right things you wont be writing these sad comments here.

Study and work in Russia/CIS

Engineering students have a much better option. After being empowered with a degree they can work in some of the growing industry like civil, telecom, petroleum etc which are booming industries in Russia as well as whole of CIS. Moreover please note average salary of doctors there are less compared to engineers employed in most MNCs flocking into this region. An engineering degree in Russia along with an Indian or foregin origin gives better advantage in terms of professional progress with MNCs in this region.
I have been working for the last 5 yrs with oil and gas drilling concerns in Russia and Kazakhstan and found that despite recession this industry needs good engineers and those with good communication skills in English and Russian are wonderful. So its a positive move if you have decided to go and study there. Besides I have seen many of my russian colleagues have interacted a lot and have developed their english while I got my Russian skills developed. Some who studied here alike me though I studied in India are getting offers from oil giants in mid-east and around the globe too.
But bottom line is learn Russian before going for atleast 6 months course which are conducted by Cultural centres in India. When you land up there make a few russian friends and dont make yourself confined to Indians only. I have lots of Russian friends unlike other Indians and they help me a lot and make me feel secure rather they embrace me as their own.
Good Luck folks

you have the right attitude to be our brand ambassador.
In indian colleges (even in REC's/NIT's), I have seen people forming groups on linguistic & caste basis and form Ghettos.
At work places the same thing continues giving rise to nepotism and depriving deserving people opportunity to sustain and grow.

i think indian students should avoid russia because of the standard of education, which is much lower than india. secondly racism is at peak in russia. i have stayed in russia for 20 years and know everything about it.
