very rightly said. Festivals are meant to be spent in your luxury of home only with your closed ones. Going on a sight seeing is meant for holidaying & not celebrations. Diwali is best celebrated in yr. own house with near & dear ones around having sweets,lighting crackers, playing with kids, attaining blessings fr. elders, gifts fr. others etc etc. So need of going to any far off destinations. Own house is the best place.

Also Diwali time is election time in 3 states. So people should vote first and then go for picnic if they want.
