Visit to Coorg TATA coffee Home stay which 240 KM from Bangalore (4 hours drive) where you could see both Tea and Coffee estates within one day.

The right time to visit is from November to March so that you will be able to see both coffee and tea harvesting, processing etc.,

No need to prepare yourself as per the writer of this article. You will find food nearby restaurants which is 5-15 KM radius.

The normal winter clothes will serve your purpose.

In Karnataka it is possible to combine visits to coffee and tea estates. We made a two day trip to Baluru tea estate and Kelaguru tea estate in Chikmagaluru district. Both places provided good experience of seeing the life of the planters and workers apart from trecking trails.
