This year CAT was a total faliure. Prometric has damaged the image of IIM, what a childish excuse they have for the faliure, server has crashed, we have a virus attack. what kind of servers these guys have, what kind of security they maintain for the servers. IIM should seriously think before giving contracts to such stupid organizations. Cracking the CAT was THE biggest thing in India but such foolish excuses like server crash, virus attack on servers has ruined my one year hard work. I don't know what we should do as still I am not aware of my exam date.

Can anyone let me know if any of the candidates for the exam at 29th nov, Evening,M H Saboo Siddiq college, Mumbai got a call for rescheduled test????
I did not get any call and tried to contact prometric at 1800 103 9293 but no response was received
CAT is a failure now.Im a career consultant(since 25 years) and i had warned that it would be a failure because we at gujarat had same exam GCET in july.it was intranet base and it failed drastically.the magnitude of failure of conducting the so called FIRST ONLINE EXAM OF INDIA FOR MBA ENTRANCE was such that some students challenged in the GUJARAT HIGHCOURT.here at cat just think about the horrifying delay for one student and the other is taking exam perfectly.cat is a great mind game where mental state is of prime importance.how can u call it a competition where one student is rescheduled for no fault of his own !!!..JAGO MERE BACHE JAGO....CHALLENGE CAT IN SUPREME COURT...BRING THESE IDIOTS OF IIMS AND PROMETRIC TO JUSTICE...i smell great amount of LETI DETI between these two groups as CRORS OF RUPEES AMT is involved in cat.its a great nexus..who will now BELL THESE CAT KAUBHANDIYA THRU COURT? HURRY UP YOU YOUNG PEOPLE....IIM has lost its credit and credibility...come forward move cat to court and try to restore the same old pattern to save the IMAGE OF IIM... WITH A GRIEVE HEART IM APPEALING.... KASHYAP....
I've been through CAT and I know the amount of hard work that one has to put to clear the test. Its the worst kind of feeling when administrative blunder fails such an important exam of your life. The authorities should give Vijay another shot at it this year itself. Hope you are pushing for one dude.
The only way to restore sanctity of CAT and to give everyone equal footing at it is to revert back to PP format.IIMs should cancel this going on circus and do justice to thousands of candidates.
Here's a organization that probably does 1 million assessments a year trying to do quarter of a million in 1/30th of the time and that too at 1/1000th of the real estate it has worldwide.
Prometric greed is good, but not at the cost of a student's career.
Prometric and the CAT authority should be sued for deficiency of service under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
