Leftover food to be packed.
by Indian Citizen on Dec 07, 2009 11:35 PM  | Hide replies

I was on a flight from Mumbai to Lucknow via Delhi. The guy, apparently traveling first time demanded the leftover food to be packed, and created a big fuss when the air hostess expressed inability to pack it. Finally, she put the leftover things in the aircraft "Vomit Bag" and the guy happily kept in his hand baggage. It was real embarrassing for me to sit next to him.

indians are the worst travellers
by suraj john on Dec 07, 2009 04:02 AM

having had the opportunity to travel a lot, i never figured out why we have to carry so much of luggage with us everywhere. sometimes some of our countrymen's behaviour especially outside the country has made me feel awkward and embarrassed. we need to reinvent our culture to be accepted in this world

WE?
by sachchidanand dhar on Dec 06, 2009 02:30 AM

I hope that the authors here do not mean by "we" as our compatriots-to which free advice and preachings are being doled out.
If that is the case-kindly fly with colorless men for about an year, then compare people's behaviour (do not mistake behaviour for cultural preferences) according to their colour and shades. Or read Arthur Hailley9Airport International.

Has anyone travelled on Skybus?
by Loan Shark on Dec 05, 2009 02:22 AM

Skybus went BK last year. They had no seat assignments and cheged for preferred seating. So, when the released the general category, there would be a riot and people jumping over each other for their favorite seat.

The aircraft was filled in no time

the author is also hogging freebies - Flying to exotic location on investors money

am a management employee in the power sector and have to fly frequently to exotic destinations to visit power plants. My annoying airline experience took place when I was flying for work between Kolkata [ Images ] and Delhi [ Images ].

Maybe it has something to do with our present mindset that the more one exploits the system the smarter one is.
Well we certainly need to take it easy on that. Maybe it will come with time. We are still new in the world of comforts as compared to an average american/european/japanese.
