The standard of Pharmacy education has eroded to a great extent by mushrooming of private colleges. These private institutes emphasise more on their earnings rather than the quality of education. Even PCI and AICTE are not able to control the quality of the education.(It is clear from the recent reports of clandastine relations between management and AICTE officers.) Hon'ble minister Kapil Sibbal must intervene to raise the standard of Pharmacy Education.
