How do you know which stocks to sell when market is going down. For short selling stock proper stock selection is required which needs analyses of market and stocks. Both stock exchanges NSE and BSE allows short selling in the market

I do not agree when you compare ELSS with ULIPS. Both are different in nature. Both have different fund composition. Both have different charges and ULIPS are not Investment Plans. they are Insurance Plans. Please dont compare Mutual Funds with Insurance Plans. For God Sake, dont try to confuse a common man. Mutual Funds Investment cater to an investment need which is

Calculate three years from each investment SIP. If you were to invest Rs.1000/- today, those units would be open to redemption exactly 3 years later. And so on....in case you want all the money together, you will have to wait for 6 years from the date of starting the SIP.

On one hand phreaking govt. wants you to pay more taxes, on other hand it wants you to not pay and save.

1000 rules and regulations leads to unproductive work like sitting and calculating zillion taxes and loop holes. What a waste.

Just everyone pay 20% FLAT taxes every year, no ifs and buts.
