i have canceled my car insaurance policy in 05 th may 2015 till now company has not refunded my amt i also sent them a legal notice one by they didnt reply what should i do???????
If I am entitled to max 50% No Claim Bonus on my old vehicle, which I sell off to buy a new vehicle, am I entitled to the 50% rebate on the insurance premium for the new car ? If yes, what are the formalities / precautions / steps to be followed ? Please advise. Thanks.

No. Motor Insurance is 'motor' specific, not owner/user specific.

You should buy the new vehicle within 3 years of selling the vehicle. For this the vehicle type should be same (i.e. both should be two wheelers or both should be cars etc.) You cannot entitle for 50% No Claim bonus of a Two wheeler replaced with the car. You should intimate the Sale of your car to the Insurance Company and in turn they will issue a Certificate of No Claim Bonus with which you can avail the NCB for the new vehicle.
