it cannot be worse than india...
by vishal sinha on Jan 09, 2010 11:25 AM

i live in india....in a big city...i face endless discrimination....
the basis of the discrimination are as follows...
1.language
2.religion.
3.money.
4.gender.
5.region/state
.............and yes the mother of all ......CASTE............
i m very sure i can never face more discrimination than this....

it seems we indians have a tendency to form groups....which always end up as discriminatory groups...

i am also wondering why no one mentioned caste system ....this one really hurts ...its so illogical but those 150 million people wont budge...they adore it....its as if its in their blood...
u can never win them ....u r alone(individual) they are 150 million....u cannot destroy them...i mean how many can you...

anyway as about this racial thing.....i know many australians ....they have genuine complaints....
they dont like some mean fellow in their neighbourhood....will u....will u like lots of biharis living in ur neighbourhood....

hey its all relative....biharis are to india...what india is to australia...

u think u are smart...guess what biharis think they are the smartest.....

i feel good when i hear such racial incidents...atleast someone is raising their voice against the bihari culture.....

PS:actually its not bihari culture its pandit culture...though u may have to observe too keenly...mark it...

Racial Taunts
by Sanjeet Deb on Jun 07, 2009 07:10 PM

Dear all readers,
I was a student in the UK for one year. In my stay I didn't encounter much of a problem other than few dirty comments only at pubs and disco theques. All that comments from Whites came only when they were drunk. In this connection I would like to say that avoid verbal duel with Whites inside a pub or a disc.Let me point out one important thing.Whites are also friendly people as known otherwise. I was even treated with drinks by Whites which is so very uncommon. It would be foolish to assume ideas about their mindset with such incidents in A.Let us look at their plus points.Whites are not corrupted as we Indians are. They respect their own fellowmen. We in India donot respect other's right and privileges. There are more negative attributes in among us Indians in our own country. So it would be foolish to brand them.

ravi is absolutely correct, tamils in srilanka are srilankans not indians, whereas people being attacked in australia are indians. we are bound by our nationality and not our language or religion. if we were bound by our language or religion then we should also adopt problems faced by pakistan and nepal.

You must be one of the Bongs settled in Australia. Who asked them to go to Australia? They wanted to earn more money than the natives. They must be prepared for all the harassments they get in the foreign country. Either sympathise with all people of all communities or DO NOT support anyone. Dont get biased with Tamils and Indians. Tamils in Sri Lanka are also from India settled there long back. Get that right.

Because you fool, the people getting hit
in australia are Indians whereas the people affected in sri lanks were Sri lankans irrespective of their language.
What happens to them is none of our concern.

Ravi

Ravi. You are behaving like a fool now. Who asked them to leave India and go there in the first place and live like insects in an alien country. And after getting settled in Austrialia or USA they will come back to India and criticise the state of our Country. You should never worry too much for people who leave our shores for better prospects and cry hoarse when something bad happens to them there. Who are Australians in the first place. They are descendants of criminals and convicts sent there by the British Empire long time ago. They are very bad behaving compared to Britishers or Americans. What can you expect from the descendants of convicts? Have you forgotten how Greg Chappel behaved as a coach in Indian team?

How to ? !!
by Nalin Kishore on May 31, 2009 02:37 PM

Avoid controversy in the first place, but,if you HAVE BEEN attacked, retaliate with all the force at your command. Do NOT remain a sissie. As far as possible move in pairs / groups as there is safety in numbers. If alone, one is never safe anywhere, including our own Motherland !

This is rubbish..UK is far more Racist country than Australia or US. In UK you get treated very badly no matter how good you may be at your work. I've worked in UK & Australia and I can definitely say that UK is worst among ALL..

I know you ppl. Are taken huge loans to go there, but there is no solutions to this, at least ppl who are now in INDIA and willing to travel to Australia or USA see other destinations like UK, Ireland, Iceland, some Scandinavian countries though some are non-english speaking nations, but see its danger to go Aus/USA we can’t take risk!!!
