what about 7m ppl living in slums and homeless in mumbai? 400 m living on less than $1/day ?
caste/ language/ region/ skin color probs ? corrupt politicians who con the public for decades ! not enough public toilets ! ppl sh** in streets. can not move easily from one part of india to other for work or living grinding poverty but ppl dont try anything new.
charities and religious orgns. who waste money on garish events ppl who do obscene displays of wealth trafficking of humans. indians who cheat indians even in other countries

What's the use of going to a country where theres a risk of life.There are lot of good options like Canada,Russia,Newzealand,UK which are safer countries.

Dev, Every country has problem some or the other way..These kind of incidents only increase the hatred, anger against white skins. It's not now, it was there when father of nation MK GANDHI was thrown away from train in South Africa... What will happen is, the Oz will face the consequences when they visit INDIA, especially the girls, will get RAPED/MURDERED...only this rate will go up in future..nothing else...

after a while u will see indians attacking other indians in oz...this is indian mentality.north vs south, tamil vs karnataka etc that is how 300,000 british were able rule 300million indians !easy ! they recruited indians to basH other indians. a very sucessful strategy and one that can be done even now!

one example i want to give...16,000 british were KillED by afghans in just 1 skirmish lasting 1 month. i think total no. of british kiLLed in india over 300 years was much less than that.
ps: i am not advocating violence but am just pointing out indians fighting abilities.

Dave..r u crazy!! 1. Problems in India r nothing new..but the matter rite now is that some students of a particular ethnicity r being targeted. Do you mean to say that we first fix our problems n then condemn these incidents..pathetic! Mate..do your bit but dont take leave of ur senses..a fool is worth the thousand enemies. 2. Dont make absurd statements like 16000 british killed in one skirmish. Do you know what 16000 mean in military terms. when there is such large contingent, there is bound to be problems. also heard Indians, chinese and french are regarded as worst tourists in latest survey on expedia.com.
ozzies are a physical ppl..so advice to indian: get fit, learn self-defence. once you develop a level of streetsmarts , then you will be ok. oz culture is different. indians must learn the good points. also, the attacks on indians are not much more than attack on general population. ps: any student in oz, there are some good advice in above article. also I can say after 5 yrs in any western country, normal indian will be adapted and face hardly any more probs than the other citizens after living for a while in west..i'm 100% sure these indians will not side with newbies in all incidents. at that stage you will realise, the newbie indian is also causing the problem. but money is money and oz govt. needs to help students who are giving good fees to the colleges
Students don’t be like beggars do all sort of nonsense things which we do INDIA to save money, I have seen people who don’t take tickets and travel!!!!!! Please stop these sort of stupid things and spend some money when required, when we behave like beggars the GORA’s definitely get agitated and irritated, lets not make the GORA’s agitated. I have seen people walk for 3 KM and more, there comes the real problem, 3 KM is nothing in INDIA but in countries like Australia/UK/US is big and you are going to be treated by these sort of ppl who don’t have work on lonely streets. If we use any grounds (tennis/basket ball/cricket) which are paid, first go and pay for the ground then play don’t just go and play and some one comes and ask the question!!! Countries like Australia/US/UK are exactly same they have lower class areas (where majority people would be druggist or lunatics, middle class and upper class so choose middle class or upper class areas to stay, please for saving MONEY don’t go and stay in “LOWER CLAS AREAS”

Majority incidents happen because we Indians walk and that too individual, if we don’t then these sort of incidents don’t occur. Walk from home to railway station, bus stop or from office to home or bustop or railway station (though its half to 2 KM) and it might take 5 to 20 dollars/pounds in a cab let’s spend rather we get caught to these sort of people who are hovering around street corners. I understand its pretty expense for students but we don’t have much option now!!!!!

The fools are damaging their own education industry which is in great demand due to foolish nature of our people who will fall for any degree from a foreign land.
Many of the degrees are just dummies and many institutions are shops selling such papers.
A lot of students going there in name of education are actually working there as cheap labourers.
Just avoid Australia. They were racist criminals and will remain so.
I am Indian and I live in Melbourne. The issue here is not whether it is a racially motivated attack or not. The issue is these attacks are happening with impunity. Agreed Indians are being attacked and it is being highligted, but even Luke Mitchell got killed last weekend and a female NSW police officer was bashed in Sydney.
What needs to be done is for the Police to acknowledge the fact that they have not been able to stop these attacks till now and step up actions from their end to stamp these problems out instead of trying to find excuses. Honestly, if the police decide to, they are capable of stopping it. The anger amongst the Indians is more because of the lack of action from Police's side than these attacks. The law also very much needs to tighten up and hand out strong punishments instead of giving out community service orders to the accused. Racism stems from ignorance and jealousy and there are ignorant and jealous people everywhere. So stop painting a racist picture and act.
really sad to hear from our fellow indians how indians are living in australia without freedom. Indian parents should not send their childrens to australia. indian government should blacklist australians.
