Is that a trophy or a begging bowl given to an Indian by a racist gora/brit? The trophy was very likely designed by someone deeply prejudiced against Asians particularly Indians.

Maybe you need to re-check your facts!! Because rediff seems to be perfectly right with 'council' (though agreed that the rediff guys need a really good proofreader)

I take it you have never heard of the British Council which is a separate from the British High Commission.
