Article throws up many valid and debatable points.The author is quite right in asking the innocence of preteens back.Exposure to too much of knowledge is taking toll on kids these days.Her dilemma is same as that of mother in famous hollywood movie "13 going to be 30" where the little girl of 13yrs want to be beautiful,sexy n slim like models.I think our media both print n TV are playing a very negative part towards such problems.Explicit words are repeatedly used without taking into consideration who the audience are.Some years ago a very popular or not so popular song featuring Govinda & karishma was banned and subsequently rephrased because of word "sexy" being used in that song.Now a days Sexy word is used as if we it a respect n commendation. All the reality show host n judges use explicit words frequently.May be the time has changed.But i fully agree with Author that some things should remain innocent n sober otherwise day is not far when we would be witnessing a Father of 13yrs like Britons are now doing.Nobody knew what a size Zero is till Ms.Kareena Kapoor started the trend.Why do media tells the figure details of all actors and not the number of times they have fainted on Shooting sets Because of same Size Zero figure. Seems like a bad trend is being set here but we all should guard ourselves against such foolish things because there is lot of difference between Real life and Reel life
