Fathers Day
by Ashish on Jun 20, 2009 10:09 PM  | Hide replies

Am middle aged person.Lost my father, lost my Dad a long time back.Still I miss him, miss him when i find none to counsel me when I need. His experience and judicious decission helped me a lot.I was so comfortable under him,as if i was under a Banyan tree under his shadow, protected me from rain ,scorching sun of life. The Banyan tree is no longer there and i am drenching in rain and burning in the scorching sun.None like him is by my side.I still miss him.

too true. why do we realise the importance of our parents when they are no longer there ? yes, i am past middle age but i miss my dad even more now. this is the time i feel that i would have loved to sit with him and talk "on level". alas, we never say "ilove you" at the right time. dads are really like great trees throwing a wide protective shadow around us ; the day they go one feels as if in a single day one has suddenly grown up a child to become a man - no matter how old or young he is.

hi baba the great
by santanu bardhan on Jun 20, 2009 06:47 PM

when i frist got the sense of father as a person, without knowing what is good and what
is bad i thought of becoming a doctor and become famous like him.
when i grew more older i saw him obeying his
father and i learnt to obey elders.
when i was 15yrs i thought of getting married
to a beautiful lady like my mom got married to
father----with one difference ie i belive in love marrige and my father 's marridge was arrange one.
my father has one disadvantage , he talks less
and i also has the same habit.due to this a
misunderstanding grew between me and him.
at this hard time of us i pray to GOD to make us united once more.happy fathers day to all
fathers........................thank u.

My Dearest son Grecian Amrose,

You have hardly called me 'dad' Because of

Your mother Decerted me.When you were infant.

As a father I was not considered your natural
guadian in comparison with your mother.Material
wise I have not done any thing to you but,I love
you Very much.

Yours unfortunate father.
