People should remeber what ever recession come does not matter . If you are getting chance to enter in R&D product development of software , you can not have any alternative carrier in india than that . those field gives u skills that can not be replaced in any recession ( recession only effect maintenace jobs and other low skills jobs ) . No company cuts there R& D people.. Even they do because there are struggling to servive u can land any where because of ur skills .
Myth:-freshers should start with a stable career. Reality:- Freshers should take risks in the begining of the career. Because they are freshers they don't have more responsibilities and they can explore better and make good decisions if they take risk at initial stage. Myth :- demand for IT industry will be less in 2010. Reality:- demand and supply are controlled by time. They cannot be predicted. Nobody is Nostradamus in business. For higher gains higher risk needs to be taken. I would advice to young professional to go by current situation and interest rather than beliving in rediff created sooth sayers like Amit Bansal.

IMO the software industry has seen its peak in the past, we may never see the same kind of demand for software developers in future. Other emerging markets such as china and Philippines are creating more and more computers professionals who could work for lesser wage. Finding job would not be tough but we cannot set terms to the organization also make many switch overs.
i m working as a enterprenure for laste ten years, total working exp. is 20 of application pragramming development and mainteneance, suffered badly in the period of recession, looking for job, how i should proceed

Why are you suggesting such a BLADE websites? This website wants us to pay them US$ 55 that is nearly Rs.2750/- to become a member. Is this the way to earn easy money. Nonsense.
