Father, you are no more in this world, you left us with lots of sorrows, your life was filled with struggle, you did for us as your level best. But before I can do something for my father, you left us.....I know you can see everything, what I am trying to do to make your dream true.....I also know your bless is always with us. This is a small tribute to my father, whose body is no more with us but his vision for us reaped the fruit. He didn't alive to see that happens.
We hail from a place called Tiruvannamalai and my father worked as a school Teacher. We four brothers, did our schooling in TV malai itself. My father put us only in Tamil medium having thought that learning from Mother tongue is much better than from other language. with meager salary and large family, he sent all four brothers to far off places to study. At a time, he payed four tuition fees, four monthly mess bills so on., How much pain he might have experienced, i realize now when I am paying fees for my only daughter! I was the second person to get admitted in Govt Engineering college in whole town in the year 1987! When there was no awareness about the education, my father sent GATE guide to my hostel address in the year 1986. Even when he was struggling to send money to all my brothers he wanted us to complete the maximum education as possible. Now I completed my Ph.D and he is no more to see that happen! All my brothers are well settled , married and have children. But we miss our father a lot! Let me pray that his soul guide us further to reach gret heights.
I lost my father 25 years ago. I have read the messages below and in the contributions above. I cannot express myself like the others have done. Afetr reading the messages, I have tears in my eyes and my tears convey my deepest love for my father.I really miss him the most.
