I read the article about topslip . Very true.the drive to the place itself was so pleasant and not to forget the serene farm stay that we had an opportunity to experience. We had reached topslip and then felt almost unlucky when all their accomodations were booked. It was then that we heard about a place called "the dense" .Honestly we dint expect much at a country side called sethumadai a 15 mts drive from topslip. We were a group of 4, 2 couples we never expected such a gorgeous view of the western ghats. There are just 2 exclusive a/c cottages well furnished and above all with neat bathrooms. We dint expect to meet such a pleasant host who was just a phone call away. At twilight, we could not expected anything better..calm and quiet and it seemed like a private haven. Simple home cooked food was served but we just dint miss anything ... We are looking to go back again and again just to experience the peace and calm that this place has to offer ..
I was in Goa for 3 years and I can say that I used to enjoy mansoon in Goa .It is mesmarising Goa during rainy season as entire hilly region of Goa looks green and green and with continious rain pouring in Goa ,it is really enjoyable sitting in a hotel lobby or some village house (village people rent house for 2 / 3 days in Goa ) having one glass of UDAK or Fenny and fish curry rice with mackral fish fry
