Low Fat Oil????
by vibhavari pandhare on Jun 09, 2009 04:34 PM

The article says : As far as possible, substitute rich, unhealthy oils with low-fat options like olive or canola oil in as many recipes as you can.

My Question : All oils are 100% fat and contain the same amount of calories - How do
olive or canola oil qualify as low - fat oil?

Copy paste

Viewers - Dont you think this is a copy paste job from a foreign magazine. Come on poached pears (dessert section) in India. Think I am a skilled copy and paste guy, hence quitting my job and becoming a writer who submits things not only to rediff but all other publications

artificial sweeteners like aspartam has side effects and can harm body in long run. most of us like sweets but fear calorie intake and rise in blood sugar. fructose instead of glucose is good . glycemic index of glucose is 100 %, that of fructose is just 19 . so can enjoy sweet food without fear of raising blood sugar.it is the amount of food and not the quality which is important. man needs fats and uncooked oil is a good source and do not harm the body. do not go by western scientists. most of them write for their masters. dr.k.k.desai

Be careful about what you write
by Ravi Shekhar on Jun 08, 2009 10:21 PM

Grilling meats can lead to the production of carcinogenic substance. You should warn readers about that in your cooking method section. When will rediff ever learn to do some research first and then post articles?

Grilling meat often leads to production of carcinogenic substances. You should add a caveat in your cooking method technique. When will rediff ever learn to do some research before posting items?
