Roam around at 1 AM in Delhi, and you will realize the beauty of Indian culture. Indians should assimilate and not live in ghettos like some minority community.

People go to Australia and Canada to save from starvation at home. Not to give money to charity organizations in Australia.

they take loan from rich landlords and their relatives to go abroad. then send back money to help family and repay debt.

why do poor muslim families send their sons to dubai and jeddah? so that they can earn money to support families. same with other people like from andhra, delhi or rural punjab. number of illegal punjab guys in UK is mind boggling, go to southall. we indians are economic migrants like bangladeshis and nepalis. lets accept the truth.

the people that you talk about who go to the Middle East or UK etc do so merely for the menial jobs. the disparity in value of currency makes these jobs lucrative. indians going to Australia do so on the pretext of study but end up working there with the lure of saving money. if it is economically difficult to go to Australia in the first place thent the best thing to do is not to go

australia, canada are big countries with population of only 20-25 million. education or jobs is just an excuse, real reason is PR. though USA may be different and many guys are coming back to hefty indian salaries.

i agree with you entirely. its not only the poor. i know a very rich sikh family in delhi, who have two sons in australia with PR. they were average in studies, so instead of sending to donation marathi colleges of pune they were pushed to australia. both are doing well by the way.

why chinese and koreans not attacked? why only indians? because many are crude and rustic. in chennai they eat with hands right upto elbow, its difficult for other indians to tolerate these things. in north, they defecate on the road. why blame white man?
A successful ENTREPRENEUR is worth 10 MBAs and 10 PHDs. However, I suggest every Indian to work and live in a Western Nation for at-least 3 months. You will learn the good, bad and ugly sides of their and YOUR cultures and socio-economic conditions.

its not surprising that ppl get assaulted there and still live there. after all, these are the ppl who can bear anything for the sake of money. and look at the ppl who have taken permanent citizenship there!! if they have not honored India, by declining its citizenship, why they expect anything from India?? ppl have gone crazy these days for foreign stays. i here parents proudly saying how their wards are enjoying in a foreign country. they also say "arre india me kya rakha hai?"...so this thing is bound to happen...
have better quality students, humble and respect for all the exchange students
compare this to the lousy aussies - their nature is visible everywhere - from cricket to politics - after all, one cant wash off his / her criminal origins

Most of the above guys who have shared their experience are suggesting so many things which u shd do jst to ensure those Aussies dnt feel insulted, insecure,etc etc. Y the hell one shd go to such a place wherein he/ she has to compromise on the his/ her way of living.Its better to earn few thousands in India and live with self respect rather than earn Australian $ and compromise on ur self respect

If we keep going on like this then we can talk about America's slavery and Germany's holcaust both of which were recently perpetrated by Christian societies. Are you getting riled becos Australia is a Christian country and so how dare a hindu society like India raise its voice!!!?

What is Caste? Caste was determined by profession in Hindu society. Like Brahmins = priests, Kshatriya = soldiers, warriors, Vaishiyas = Biz Men etc, Even in modern times Casteism exists in every society, albiet only with different names. IT Prossionals, Doctors, Lawyers etc. For differentiation sake within companies we have C'X'Os, VPs, GMs, MDs - these are high caste people in todays world. Then you have middle managers, executives (white collars) - you can cll these 'intermediate' castes and then the lower caste like Software Engineers, Mechanics, Technicians, Nurses, Peons in govt offices, road/Building constrcution workers etc. Am I wrong Varghese? Your knowledge about the concept of 'Casteism' in Hinduism is unfortuntely very limited. Using casteism for personal benefits in INdia is only propagated by the policiticians , minority community leaders etc all for personal gain without giving respect to Hinduism in a secular country like ours - which is a sin!!!
Mr. karthik had problem with people picking their noses! I have seen plenty of foreigners also indulge in this activity! In india due to dust and humidity ones nose does indeed get blocked! Hasnt mr karthik seen the way many aussie cricketers spit in their hands and rub ? most of the aussies / english i have come across keep picking their mouth with the fingers while talking!
The problem with indians is that we are neither white like the aussies, chinese, east asians,nor are we black like the african people! We are brown and this could be one of the reason for them to single out for bashing! You dont hear any chinese / koreans getting bashed up in these lands.
