Amboli in rain
by abboral boral on Jul 28, 2009 10:33 AM

Once I had travelled from Sawantbari (Goa border-60 km from panaji)to Amboli (30 km ghat road ) on Sawantbari--Belgaon road .The place is 4000 ft high .It was rainy season and I was astonished to see sea of natural water falls in that lovely place .Even lot of water falls were just falling on the road itself making Amboli Ghat road one of the magnificient view on earth .You look down to further down from the roadside gorge you can see clods down below are roaming with sometimes sun rays falling on that clouds making Amboli a awsome tourist spot .I never new that lot of hotels ,tourist lodge were also available in that place .Without any hesitation ,I stayed back in Amboli for 3 days with plenty of rain rain only .I watched the rain from the window of hotel room with background Amboli hill range and the ghat roads with 100 s of watrerfalls and not to forgetting to mention the wonderfull malwani cuisine of fish curry rice /king fish fry (there is difference between Malwani fish curry rice and Goan fish curry)and having a glass of wonderfull goan wine .I will never forget AMboli in rain some 12 years back and have strong desire to visit again .Maharastra tourism hotels also available

Real?
by Ramdas Nayak on Jul 28, 2009 10:24 AM

90% of the stories appear to be not real but fantacy! Whatever they imagined they brought down to paper. Any way good guidance for others to follow..
