If your project manager is a female. Then become Shiney Ahuja of IT industry. If male then take inspiration from Dostana movie and act accordingly. I am sure next time your manager will give u a rating that will exceed any yardstick your company has.

I think this guy is not a software engineer. Instead he is the all time biggest chamcha and his PM uses him like his servent. Also, he must be rest assured that no one else will give job to him. lol..I guess 6 percent itself is a reward.

Teaching his son and preparing some stupid coffee or tea so and bringing some thing for his home need..... What is this shut? Is it a Govt. Company? You have your own voice and talent... Spending over time in office is not at all matter.... You may not able to speak to you top line to share something.... but your work can speak to everybody.... and coming to your increment.... Is n't there any chance that the currenct situation in the world affects that?

Are we an employee or Slave ?
by rrrr on Jul 21, 2009 02:12 PM

The approach reminds of Slave and Master and it would have made more sense to put it that way than euphemisms like employee and boss.

Heirarchy is a division of labour to utilse the individuals ability to the best and let him grow. Not to satisfy your whims and fancies and and create a glass ceiling to keep him where he is and only ration rewards according to who best satisfies your whims and fancies. But, Alas ! that is what they teach at management schools.
