People and the media anchors that cry hoarse on Karnataka becoming one more tailban state are better advised to go to afghanistan or SWAT once. These are places where women cannot even dare to say a word, come to school or go to a market place, where men are beheaded for just saying anything those taliban do not like to hear,,,,. Compare that to us where we actually drop our siblings and friends in colleges and workplaces. And the lengths to which a father goes to educate his girl child.
There is a rich legacy that has been passed on to us over several millenia and some stains on it as well,, say casteism, communalism, superstition etc. Our efforts should be to eradicate them and come to the centre, so that our way of life and modernity are balanced. We need not have replicas of Las Vegas and Detroit here and then live a fools paradise called modern society.
Buildings, expressways and underground drainages dont make a place modern. Mutual respect, tolerance and brotherhood is what makes that.

This is a democratic country man, you can follow your definitions of what is right and what is wrong, but don't bother about telling the rest what to do. Like you, they are perfectly eligible to make their own choices, ans as long as they are within the limits set by the law, no one has a right to complain!

That BJP will definelty do that pretty soon. Its election time, and if they let RSS and Bajrang Dal guys have a good time raping minority girls, only then can they get their vote. Like Gujarat, Orissa and now Bangalore.
