Hi Rediff-Wish you a very happy & prosperous new year
by mammen antony on Jan 01, 2010 12:40 PM

I personally celebrate the 12th year of my association with Rediff. It has been a wonderful time with rediif.I always equate my affiliation with Rediff as a relation between two equal friends with all its receptivity, forthrightness and benignity.I never had an occassion to feel let down by friend, to whom I could speak anything under the sun, without any reservation except few occassions of moderator's censorships, that too in a later moments of self realisation that moderator was cen percent justified in deleting those venomed livid remarks I made in a moment of rush of blood which would have embarassed many.
I take this moment, not only to wish you a happy new year, but also to express my sentiments of gratitude for what you have to me all these years. A Big Thank you Once again and to all the participant of the Great Discussion Board which has no parallels .Let us renew our friendship here once again.

it has to be said that manali is the top choice for most people who love mountains

manali can be arguably called the queen of hill stations
although hill stations like leh are much higher than manali
when u talk about beauty nothing can beat the majestic indian mountains

presentation

indians dont know how to present their attractions well except a few places. Goa is ofcourse good. its also good bcos it has some western attitude. rest of india thinks singing a few movie songs and drinking mas.ala tea and bhujja mix is the most incredible thing.
many beautiful places ,no doubt in india and vibrant cities but really its mostly like having a lot of jewels in a bucket of sh*t!

I heard France is having most tourists in world. really it should be India (well, atleast india should be in top5 )also india has a good geographical position but ppl dont realise this

attitude of ppl is also v important. in this regard carribbean, thailand, bali, brazil etc have lot of tourist bcos they have a friendly attitude and good attitude.
what is good attitude ? what is 'cool"? "cool" byCool is an aesthetic of attitude, behavior, comportment, appearance and style, influenced by and a product of the Zeitgeist(people). Because of the varied and changing connotations of cool, as well its subjective nature, the word has no single meaning.
