by mammen antony on Dec 21, 2009 01:48 AM

These Domestic voilence will die down on its own wothout any external help, I said Majority cases,. You are no more infants to play these games, you are called to do better things like Nation Building,Poverty alleviation, eradication of Corruption in Society, in Juduciary, in administrative set up, get rid of communalisation etc. You are Big Boys and Girls you are supposed to swim in the deep rivers with strong under cuurrents, and you still play in the shallow swimming pool. There is nothing daring in your act, yet you shoutto get the attraction of the passers by.

The compaign is in the confines of the posh and upbeat areas of Mumbai. The sophisicated,
career minded urbanite girl is comparatively
free from domestic violence. The compaign should have been shfted to the rural areas where there is real action.

believe it or not, domestic violence happens there too... and women in rural india are still more honest about it and come ahead and are open to acceptance... people in 'posh' areas are in denial!! i've met cases and spoken to people...

Bloody Propaganda
by IndianBond on Dec 16, 2009 04:21 PM  | Hide replies

For women you have Domestice Violence Act, You have Section 498 A, you have National Commission for women, you have umpteen Womens Organisations to take up the cause of women. This is the most organised propoganda since the days of Dr. Goebbels under Nazi Germany. In fact these days the number of women facing voilence is negligible compared to the violence against men. What about a National Coomission for men ?

Chasty bold women are gifts for the society& family. When they are tantalized, nothing will come out.Only such dedicated volonteers can save them.God will reward them as long as their efforts are not for publicity.-jamaludeen

apathy of socity......
by rahul mishra on Dec 16, 2009 02:33 PM  | Hide replies

Yes domastic violence is truth of socity....it doesnot only involve physical force but using of abusive language, potraying women in indecent way.....media is also somehow culprit of this.....Now with the passing of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT women gets an extra arm to fight it....but our traditional ethos like PATI PARMESWAR and upbringing stop women to come out and report the matter....Many atimes momen itself are the perpetual of the violence agaist women.....women have to recognise there rights and have to be assertive.....

d greatest enemy of a yung woman as portrayed in movies n literature n obsvd in real life ,even observed in higher echelon of society, is a WOMAN only, man comes afterwards n only collaborates wid her in her designs 2 perpetrate it,a single woman in society also suffers, this act is as much necessar as any act of other crime...this sect of fellow humanbeings cum under rather weakewr sect. n needs protection, anybody opposing this hv no sisters n daughters r they r d perpetrators themslvs.....
