Joy to read
by practical indian on Dec 15, 2009 11:16 PM

We always read about dirty politicians and keep cursing them and I feel bad when I read that.
But, people like this prove that India is strong and no one can kill the spirit.

Way to go Mr. Anand.
I read some allegations. Irrespective of that, what I say is that even if 10% of the above article is true, that is 10% in the positive direction and 10% more than many of us can ever do.

Kudos !!!

Greatest human...
by vivek swamy on Dec 15, 2009 11:11 PM

Great.
I cannot expression my feeling in words. Your one of the greatest human.

"At times, it hurts to see that some forget about giving back to the society." this is the reason India is still a developing country.

"Yes, mobility is restricted and I get frustrated at times, but it's okay. I get my strength from these kids. " This spirit we need it for all youngsters of India

Now many of our students are working in Europe and the US
by such jano on Dec 15, 2009 10:38 PM

Thats the goal of evry indian to come out og third world life and live a developped world life.

I sometime think, india will take next 500 years to reach the standards of life that exisit in west, so if you are able to go there and live you are sort of living the life that the indian will not even able to live after 500 years, that is amazing.

congratulations to mr. anand,
by jigpri on Dec 15, 2009 09:58 PM

if someone who critisises him says that he teaches well 40% of the syllabus that is more than enough proof that he's doing something good.
we all must come forward & help him realise his dream of opening centres in all states. even his idea of education like china is better than kapil sibal's whimsical ideas.
we need revolutionaries like him.
as for proof discovery or some channels or tehelka can take interviews of his ex students. it's very easy to blame someone but very difficult to teach even 1 kid.

by indian view on Dec 15, 2009 06:30 PM

Lot of people have critised you and put lot of allegations, all this people can critises but they don't have guts to teach one poor child leave alone thirty.
Remember one thing when you point one finger to some one three fingers direction are toward youself and one toward the almight god.
Its very easy to critises but very dificut to lead by example.

You do your good deeds don't bother waht others have to say, your work should speak insetad of you

Even 1 would do!!!!
by Pavan Kota on Dec 15, 2009 05:45 PM

There will be negative comments against this article and the hreo of this article. But I would say that even if 1 poor kid can realise his dream, Anand Kumar will have his place in heaven.
In a country where education is compulsory yet elusive,we need more people like him.IF 100 people can do this(1 per institute in Bihar itself), we have created value in India.
PS: Please delete the comment which has SC ST in it.Lets not talk caste here.

Correctly said...I have also studies in his coaching and have studied in IIT Kanpur. I know the truth. He is totally wrong about his super 30 concept. One can easily imagine that IITJEE is a competitive exam. Bihar is one of the 28 states in India. That too he claims that he has selected poor (selecting genuine poor person is difficult for biggest of socialists in India, but he claims to do so). So my point is that from a Subset (Bihar) and then another subset (his coaching) another subset (poor candiate), he claims 100% success (30 out of 30). It can be easily understood that IITJEE being a particular exam there will some kind of luck factor. and in no case such a subset of subset can produce 100% result. He is a manipulative person. Answer me one question. Teaching for a particular exam (that is IITJEE), how come it be a nobel profession to make to world famous? Are you a NASA scientist or a Ramanujan? Then why so much of hype...very simple all manipulation.

Abhishek, what's your problem if 5000 JEE aspirants think it's worth spending a dime for his entrance tests? After all we all need a means to live...he doesn't look to be greedy like most around! There was a program on Discovery Channel on Anand...not only I enjoyed it thoroughly, I am also tempted to trust them more than I would trust you.

And Mr.Shiwesh sharma:
1) I would imagine it is relatively easy to get a 100% strike rate when operating on a "subset of subset of subset"(add as many as you want) rather than when operating on the entire set (like if he mentored all JEE aspirants from all over India!)
2) Probably you got it wrong - Anand isn't world famous as a JEE tutor rather as a human being.

Looks like the two of you are amongst those coaching institutes in Bihar who have no choice but to envy him :-)

"he at least knows Anand Kumar and IIT better than you" how do YOU know this for sure mate? if the 2 of you were ordinary readers it's highly unlikely you would know each other...this proves you are here to taint Anand's image

I am no looser. I have done B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur. Any problems with that? And if you study in IIT you get to know how advantace the IIT coaching are outside Bihar. Anand Kumar's coaching doesn't score even 25% if compared to other best coachings in India. He teaches 40% of the syllabus and most of his students manage to get poor ranks. If you compare other places there students fight for under 100 ranks. I agree that the 40% syllabus which he teaches, he teaches well. But that is sufficient just to get ranks below 3000.

How much Anand Kumar earns? 1 crore at least...And I know who you are...this is just a publicity stunt...otherwise there are so many social servants in India...scientists, brave soldiers who die at boarders...but every month I see only one article...I could not go to Cambridge...who cares...and let me tell you...I have seen entire thing...right from his coaching to IIT culture...students coming from other coaching and schools...he is no mother teressa or an Abdul Kalam that right from all kind of media I just keep listening about his super 30 as if it will give entire world something to servive...
