There has been an explosion in numbers in the supply of graduate engineers thanks private colleges. India produces 4 lakh engineers per year , far more than the economy can absorb. Dr. Subhrangsu S.Maitra
i think this is really a great initiative for IITs...once again proving why they are the among the best in the country and the world. It gives the previous year passout batch a fair chance to get placed. Really good decision. :)
