What is there to put Indians down. I travel frequently and it is always a nuisance when people get up even when it is taxiing and shouting obscenities. It is nothing to be proud of at least to us not sure about you.
Dear Sudipta, It seem you are a bengali version and cheaper reprint of Raj Thakrey.... even on an international flight, you are dividing Indians on the basis of region which shows your pooor mentality and seems education had no affect on u.... I can show u many bengalis displaying far crude behavior and mannerism in foreign lands but again, I dont want to stoop down to ur level... so dont worry, hope next time u get fellow bengalis on board.... BOLO JAI RAJ THAKREY!!!!!!!!!

Dude... It is this 'under civilized Indians' who are propelling India's growth.... not a handful damp squib so called 'urbane Indians' like u... Get a life man... Even rich get their cars financed...
Yes, we do see fellow Indians behaving strangely when we travel abroad, but my French friends also say they cringe at the behavior of their fellow-French citizens when they travel to India !
Just goes to show that the French adage "plus ç change ...." is true : the more things change, they seem to stay the same!
Let us all therefore learn to be more tolerant of our fellow-citizens, whever we may be in the world!

You, have rightly said. But We the Indians lack Civic Sense. Its a fact. Whenever we go abroad, we try follow there ethics, like forming queues, not throwing wastes in public places. But once we are back to home, the same old story repeats. The correct word would be we are pretending to be nice, when abroad.

see how people behave in noida and delhi in the metro.. no use providing modern facilities when there is no civilised behaviour.
While I agree that's how most Indians behave (as if they paid for the entire flight). And someone below also pointed out, that it is becoz of such behavior we are racially targeted.
Having said that, If you boarded a flight within USA, I will challenge you that we Indians behave better and wait for the flight to stop.
These Americans jump out of the seats at a lightning speed and pull out their luggage.
But, they walk at a snails pace toward the exit.
This irritates most Indians on board, coz Americans have been flying for the last 75 years and they still dont know social behavior in flights.
When it comes to Queue formation, we atleast form a Q of sorts. In USA, there will be 3 Qs merging into ONE.
So stop Indian bashing. And an Academician in Malaysia doesnt give you rights to think you are educated and above all the fellow passengers.
May be they thought the same about you...Silent & Depressed lady....and may be he's writing about you in the next article... LOL

Good one dear... I also had similar exp in US.... But the difference is Americans dont write such articles unlike 'Educated Indians'..... LOL
I think its a true story..we can easily replace "Hindi" with "Tamil" and it wont make a difference. Just travel on the Singapore--Chennai or KL--Chennai sector and you will know what I mean. Also any clues why Indians are being bashed up in Australia...its for these kind of poor public behaviour and nothing else.
