Airlines can be so cheap that they can not afford to give water to a thirsty passenger.

Truth of Mr. Harsh
by himanshu govil on Dec 04, 2009 04:38 PM  | Hide replies

This man Harsh has been forgotten the first flight of his life he took. He is now making mockery of a simple living indian family.

When he was boarded his first flight to Mumbai, and the craft was just touched the surface and still running on runway, he unfasten his seat belt and take his bag out from cupboard above and place it in corridor.

Any body can imagine this behaviour. This is a general practice we do when our buses are about to reach their destinations.

And he said he was not stopped laughing for 20 minutes !!!!! Same here harsh !!

i agree with you mr.govil. this is the case with most of the middleclass and poor indians..like me, who get to fly airlines. they think they have reached a different orbit and start mocking the people with whom they grown up

'They wanted free meals on a no-frills airline!'
by Vijay K on Dec 04, 2009 03:53 PM

Well Sweets,
On budget airlines ,it is cash and carry.
You get the packet of overpriced chip or
sandwitches only after paying cash!!!

Most of the Rediff articles are figments of
the writers imagination.

Once they said that Google Translation service
can be used to translate from English to English.

Too bad ,.....nobody checked out the site.
When I did , I found that the option of
English to English translation did not exist.

Poof.
Poor Rediff.

No airlines does serve food upfront without taking money first, if passenger need to pay. the writer tried his imagination. not a bad try at all. should have been better.

What is so funny
by Ravi Bhandari on Dec 04, 2009 01:44 PM  | Hide replies

Everyone doesn't know everything. The person might have travelled for the first time. It sound really saddist that someone is trying to make fun of others ignorance.

"Everyone doesn't know everything" - rightly said. But if you dont know something why throw up attitude and pretend to know everything? Somehow I feel we Indians are a bit shy in admitting we dont know something and try to cover it up by throwing attitude around

Ignorance is not the issue here. But attitude is. It is common for people to feel that they own the Air Hostesses. Often demands are made where just requests suffice. Often, safety precautions advised by the crew are just ignored. While flying, ignorance can be too expensive (though not in this particular case), especially to all the other passengers.

Ravi, thank you for your words of encouragement. Your opinion hardly matters.
Good Bye.
