I dont agree upon article. Always there is different situation in office and home. At home there are so many unexpected expenses or sometime majboori that you have to spent money. In office every expense has approval as per financial condition.

same rule can be applied at home for better financial management.You have to plan your expenditure dear. Only exception is medical bill for which risk can be lowered by medical Insurance.

I dont agree with you except medical bill, you have to expenses every month in majboori like GIFT TO NEAR & DEAR ON MANY OCCASSION, SHOW OFF IN SOCIETY, CHILDEREN'S UNEXPECTED DEMAND ALSO FROM HIS/HER SCHOOL (I.E. FEE HIKE/ANNUAL CHARGES/FUNCTION DAY CHARGES) So, We cant compare office with home. Every time/month home budget is fail

Dear Bhipinder, if you have expenses "in Majboori" for every month whatever may be the nature ... Then let us plan it on monthly basis and add it in expenditure. I have been implementing my Home budget in line with what all i do for my dept. budget. Belive me it does make sense to invest effort in it.
