i agree wed is d saddest day..if its monday its okay..tuesdays r also fine..but when wed comes i start to think about how far my weekend is..dont know y but its true.n i even think friday is the best!!! thinking about sat sun makes me soooo happy im happy to work.

do agree with ur view..........wednesday falls in between .......so that we forget the renmisience of the last weekend and the coming one is too far to think over.....we want the day to pass as quicklt as possible
In a most corrupt,unhygenic,epidemic,city like Mumbai, we have no choice and no difference between Monday, wednesday or Sunday.Mr.Ghosh is speaking of American or European conditions, where the situation is entirely different.We all live in Garbage so the illustration does not bear any significance to us.

we live because we cannot die-I dont think their is a bigger axiom than this for our country-I am sorry to say we are not great though we use excuse of culture to sound great or either we make statements like we have the potential to be gr8 e.g Swades.Unfortunatly we cant be because we are the biggest cheaters liars & corrupt people in the world -we can never be a gr8 nation-if we were 2 becom we wud have by now-the state of our nation is horrific & we are spiralling downward- we asked for it & unfortunately we are all to blame- we have time for the petty issues but nothing against Poverty,backwardness,dowry,rape,illiteracy-these are just means to get votes & play with people who allow themselves to be played with-the facts & figures of our condition like mortality rate,malnutrtion,healthcare sector have gone from bad to worse-only generation of wealth cantreat these malaise-but govt wont allow becaus it wil lose power & people dont have brains to understland they are being made fool of-on the name of culture morality tradition we are being held back though the only aim of life is to make progress-but we are blindfolded & shackles & are only concerned with caste etc-& believe me v dnt have a chance & I am not a pessimist but a rationalist & facts are fugures are my god

Delhi is worse than mumbai in tersm of corruption & discipline.
We cannot determine a particular day of a week as good or bad day.Small incidents in morning after you wake up till you reach place of work decide your fate for the day , it can be any day Monday to Sunday. American style of thinking may not work with us.

For me mondayis thebest day of week, as on saturday and sunday i have to: 1. Remain at home and without Air conditioner which is in office 2. Do some household work wife tells at office i do nothing. 3. I ter fast connection of internet and free telephone, at home I use my own and have to pay 4. In our office ther are many canteens and i eat various things in lunch and breakfast and take tew when ever i want and feel like at home this is not possible 5. Chit chat with colleagues who are equally free in office at home others are not free like me (I am a government scientist)
I really feel jealous of you guys... I got six day week job.. i have never known how a fun friday would feel like.. even on saturday i end up working till 9 pm... :(

Yea, I can understand even my wife has 6 days working... She also feels the same... Better as the market is good... change your job

Friday is the happiest day in my life cos that is the only day during the week(except Sat and Sun) when my wife gets a chance to come home early and make fish curry for me....
When i reach home at 9PM on Friday, the smell of fish curry and rice wafts thru the air and greets me at the doorstep........
