Some 18 years ago I also visited this lovely place on the bank of river Biwas .You need not worry about staying or doubtfull high cost resort (which actually kill the thills of tourism as your precise money is drained out ).There are friendly village houses who rent for 1 or 2 days of staying .Nothing soecial of tourism in this place but the serenity ,greenery amidst backdrop of river is eye catching .Just roam arround and enjoy local foods .Its a lovey place
