Hotel 1300 year old !!
by Ashok Mittal on Aug 19, 2009 09:54 PM

I wonder who might be using hotels in those days! In India, even today there are no hotels in villages. If a person needs to go and stay overnight in a village, some sarpanch or ex-sarpanch makes the arrangement in his house which invariably has a hall where several cots are all the times lay; and for the food, their women-folk serve the guest with all the enthu.

chicken flu said something which deserves a reply from the author. I cannot believe that this hotel building has been standing there unchanged in any form for all these years. The fact that there has been a building in the nature of a hotel at that site alone does not make it the oldest hotel in the world.

Temples are old. They are the houses for my parents (Gods).

Alas, sense of history started a paltry 2000 years back for all macaulay educated Liberals. They cannot understand.

Please wake-up and look around. Try to understand as what is going on around you. Lest one cannot believe anything. Such a sickness is a serious cause for depression, altruism, lonerism, at times even extreme thoughts. Please read books, search the web, meet people, chat, express opinion and get feed back. If one believes in one-self only one starts accepting the surrounding. Otherwise life is actually lifeless. Good luck
