I lost my elder sster just two months back and I really miss her on this day of Rakshabandhan. I pray for her that god should give here a nice place and rest in the heaven.
Gone are the old days when Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in a true spirit of love between a brother and a sister...now-a-days it is just a show off for money and dominance in the family...forget the original festival..

How can u say like that ???? May be in mettros...or to an extent it may be. But still it is celebrated in very high spirit and with lot's of emotion.

But still it is out tranditon and culture and we must try to gain that sanctity of this festival back. Let us pledge ourselves that we weill behave and bring that glory of festival and relationship back.

Maybe thats the case with an insensitive city like Mumbai, but rest of India still celebrates it with the same spirit.
