MorON, why do not refer to the one sentence before this verse i.e. 9.4: "With all those infidels you have agreement, if the keep their promise and do not help your enemies against you, then you abid the agreement till its validity." And in other case if the party with which you have agreement, helps your enemy then 9.5
MorON, I would like to ask you what you will do if any person you have agreement breachs it and helps your enemy. It will be an act of treason. And what will you do if it poses a potential harm to your life. Ofcourse you are going to save your life even at the cost of killing your enemy.
So what is wrong in this verse? And muslims are also victims of the bomb blasts. Remember the blast at Malegaon which has been triggered by Bajrang Dal/RSS/VHP trio. At least I expect you to strongly condemn them.
And yes, always refer the full text from Quran, do not pick one part of the sentence as you did now.

walking around Bombay and eating great food. I am a Hindu but on such days like eid mubarak, christmas, diwali I saw everyday common hard working people wishing each other hindu wishing muslim, muslims wishing hindu, christians wishing hindus,muslims et all. May be that is why such days are called auspicious days. And it reminds me of Louis Armstrong's song "Its a wonderful world" a snippet of its lyrics
The colors of a rainbow..so pretty ..in the sky Are also on the faces..of people ..going by I see friends shaking hands..sayin.. how do you do? And I say to myself What a wonderful world....

It is good to see the Muslim Friends enjoying the festival. We too will.... This is a INDIAN CULTURE...IT IS STEADY AS IT MOVES ALONG WITH EACH & EVERYBODY....IT ABSORBS ALL GOODS & ODDS.... So dear friends, 1) don't allow anybody to malign the culture 2) Polititians joining/ arranging Eftars are the real enymies of yours, don't get carried away with there sycophancy 3) Cast, Majahab, ...Hindu muslims are not the real probles world is facing...teach your childrens regading how to reduce pollution, plant trees, why it is needed. 4) Make the young generation aware of real issues they are going to face after few years..water scaricity, pollution, land contamination etc etc. 5) Dont allow them to make public places dirty, be an example to them 6) Tell them regarding all casts & good habits preached in each
