My experience my mother-in-law went to singapore. Accidentally she got hurt. There she spent Singapore dolloor 105/-. The insurance company refused to pay the amount b'coz the amount was less than us dollor 500/-
never get insured from bajaj allianze. i m currently experiencing this while in USA. either they reject claims or go slow in processing. i have not yet got approval for tests to be done for my health problem after 3 months. they dont care about people they care about money.. NO BAJAJ ALLIANZE...
I had a similar experience in UK. Luckily that was related to a lost valuble. I was advised by a solicitor that If insurance is not approved I should threaten them with 'Financial Ombudsman'. Initially the TPA took a month to reject my claim, then I mentioned Ombudsman and got my claim approved within a week.
I have also experienced the heat of claiming travel insurance. again thanks to the insurance broker who really helped to get back my claims in australia. Although insurance company returned back money after two months of time. Had I been known the 'Insurance Ombudsman' I would have sued them.

Even in the deluxe ward of Holy Family Hospital Bandra(W),Mumbai 50,the service rendered by the nursing staff is unsatisfactory.Doctors like Dr. Jacinta Meena,Gynaecologist do not come at the time of delivery and babies die in the womb(still birth)

Sorry. I am sure our GREAT NURSING STAFF (who are mostly from Kerala & confirmed 3rd rate in all respects) have not yet made it to Switzerland. You find them maximum in Gulf, UK & Australia and I am sure they must have earned a bad name for the whole Nursing Community itself.
No overseas travel without insurance, never use credit cards overseas and I've observed not only in EU but in majority of travel oriented countries in ASEAN the Medical Services Staff are very professional and does commendable job.
