What Sai experienced, the same I have experienced. I understood that its the mistake of mine but not seeing the documents fully. But I am strugging to resolove this same issue with Citi and BSLI but in Vain.
Usaully in the FIRST year your 85% of the Investment and the SECOND Year it goes to 60% if you carefully Study. (Citi Bank will get all documents signature) You might not know that Citi is going to pay for the FIRST year only the whole amount and from the NEXT year month on month they are going to charge.
In that way you are LOSING heavy loss by way of your UNITS wont credited to your account on the 13th MONTH but you only get the TOTAL UNITS DIVIDED BY 12.
And another INTERESTING STORY NO INSURANCE COMPANY DO LIKE BSLI and CITI. Becuase of CITI to get the HUGE Commission they do this kind of MALPRACTIZE. They will increase you insurance to 350% the 2nd YEAR.

Yes citibank is a thug it start sending unwanted articles and even DD of huge amounts giving you plea that it had been accepted by you over phone. I have tasted all these things and have lost Rs10000. or so and only then I returned card to the bank but still I recieve lrs.informing me that a life policy was accepted by me against my credit card.Our govt.is veru poor and is BECHARI against this cheating by banks.
I had citibank card and I never used after listening to all these complaints, I have cancelled my citibank card. I also have few other cards and have outstanding of couple of thousands. I am planning to close all cards as soon as possible
DON'T FAITH ON CITI BANK EXECUTIVES one day citit bank exectuive called on my cell( i don't know from where she got my number) and she started giving me rosy picture of Birla Sunlife Policy. inspite of having good knowledge of finance , i acceptied her proposal to meet in the office. She came to my office and again shown the rosy part of the Birla Sunlife Policy but never told me about the riders in the Policy. Finally i bought the Policy and Paid rs 132000/-. Once the Policy come to house only then i came to know that there are 70% admin charges out of rs 132000/- i was stunned and shocked. i called citi bank executive, first few days she refuse to take my call and then i written to Birla sunlife but there reply was not satisfactory, simply they said they can;t do any thing. and finally they send the form for surrender of Policy. over and above the surrender value was rs 32000/- that too payment after 3 Years. my achivements of taking Birla Sunlife policy= i Lost rs 1 lacs in one year time. i have doubt whether i will get balance amout of Rs 32000/- after 3 years or not. if they can take my 1 lacs rupees, they can take my balance of rs 32000/- Lesson = Beawre of sweet voices of Cit Bank executices.

After have problem for 4 months, i called there executive to surrender the card. I made full and final payment or around Rs.14,000/-. But worst, even after 8 months I contineud to get collection calls , I had gone to bank more than 4 times and showed receipt only to assured calls will be stopped from next billing cycle.
