Grand Auto "Theft". The name sucks as also the theme. Many of the games are violent in nature and promotes a sense of coldness in your psyche. The brain can be altered to coax you toact in a cold blooded manner, in real life. Once you shoot enemies/ people and commit thefts etc, your moral beliefs are slowly modified. You believe there is nothing wrong in killing or commiting theft. This coaxes you to replicate these in real life. This is one of the reaosns in the school shoot outs in the US.On the contraray I like the Basket Ball, football games and have enjoyed palying them.

I totally agree with Yusarian. Even, I am against immoral games, which really spoils the new generation, getting them an impression that killing or prostitution is just a part of life. Too bad from Rockstar, to release just about anything for money.

This is the exact attitude of people who dont about games. Have you even GTA IV before you babble about it . The problem does not lie with the game but with some retard people who cannot differentiate between fantasy and real life. Research have shown that ppl who commit these crimes are not influenced by games but rather have serious mental disorder.And pleas get your facts straight before posting on the net it not one of main and not evn the reason for school shootings in us. The ppl involved had serious mental disorder. If you do not want to play game thats fine thats your personal choice but do not spread lies about games which u dont even about. Plus a recent study has shown that gaming on the contrary have helped in reducing crime rates by getting ppl to play games and rather creating ruckus outside. So please do not talk about the topic you dont know..

i am die hard fan of the GTA series.i have played all the previous version and enjoyed them immennsely. each and every aspect of Game is cut above the rest.the graphics is very impressive especially san andreas. i am eagerly waiting for the "IV" as i am yet to purchase PS3.
This is the first time I'm seeing the review of a game in rediff. Certainly a good start. Nevrtheless the review is bland. It lacks details. Techtree, which is another Indian site does pretty well with game reviews. Just a visit to that site for the same review would give more insight to the author. A few more screenshots wold do great.
