Appearing in any examination is an art

JEE is all about basics -
1)First understand the problem and point what examiner wants to know and what all data has he provided.

2)Apply fundamentals. Don't follow shortcuts until you are thorough with basics. Mugging CBSE formulas wont help.

3)People conducting JEE are looking for talents who have understood the fundamentals till class XII, so that they dont trumble in IIT in atleast the basics.

Cracking the Examination :-
1) You have the brouchure, so just follow the syllabus by heart. They dont ask anything beyond that.

2) Hard work pays, but smart work pays better. So be smart in selecting your strong points which ll fetch you more marks.

3)Even if your one paper doesnt go as per your desires, dont let that get reflected in the rest . Dont be weak meantally.

4)Follow some good books. Other than HC Sharma physics, none of Indian authors are worth.

You are quite right Sir. Rediff is making too many mess ups these days.

On Valentine's Day also, episodes of How I met my Valentine, it interchanged the photos of my hubby and me with that of another couple. So, the stories didnt match with the photos. Although both of us wrote to Rediff to correct it, they did not do anything about it.

Please take care Rediff and verify properly without publishing anything.

The students generally have more grasp over XIIth class topics so prepare current electricity, elactromagnetic induction and magnetic effects[biot savart] thoroughly. Atmic structure and nuclear physics are scoring go through them once..avoid optics if not good at it.in XIth class heat and states of matter are not very important so prepare SHM, Waves and mechanics part

Tips

Maths :- There are generally two classes of people in this category - those who are good at it and those who are not. Those falling into the first one would leverage a tough Maths paper to score high in the JEE rankings. For those who are relatively weaker in Maths need to prioritize - attempt their relatively stronger areas in Maths first before taking up the weaker ones. This will help you to clear the cut off marks. Having said that you should compensate the "loss" in Maths by scoring high in other subjects.

For me, I have always loved Maths and it has been my forte :-). Mathematics helped in putting me in the top ranks.

Tips on Physics and Chem. to follow :-)
