The emoluments should be driven in the Cost to Company context. Cost to Army would include, cost of free medical treatment, cost of free rations, cost of membership to various outdoor clubs, cost of accomodation, cost of travel during leave, etc. I am sure this would quite match any decent private sector company, especially when you factor in Army maintained clubs.

Time is ripe that we amend our system constitutionlly to suit todays requirement. At Centre-only national issues, anyone talking divisive issues must be barred, similarly at State -only States issues, at Distt. level and local level-only local issues.etc.,etc.,Empowerment to different places can be accordingly allotted, or redesigning of political freedom can be identified/defined. Till we implement strict democratic disciplinary norms,desired improvement may not be achieved.
