Hi My name is Sandeep. I purchased a real estate property (A) worth INR 38.00 Lacs on June 15th 2009. I have also booked a separate property (B) worth INR 87.00 Lacs on 15th July 2009. Now - I plan to sell off my property (A) worth INR 64.00 Lacs with a capital gain of 26.00 Lacs - and i would be utilising the capital gain for payment of Property (B). In the above scenario - am i liable to pay the Short term capital gain tax?
