Reminds me of an incident in a theatre I was watching a movie in. During an interesting part of the movie, a young couple's baby cried inconsolably. A man in one of the rows behind adviced the young mom, " Baby ko ek nipple diya kar". People around laughed merrily. The young husband jumped up, turned around and loudly berated the advice giver. Whereupon another voice from the audience popped up, "Baap ko doosra nipple diya kar"

Wailing babies are by no means a nuisance. Rediff.com is plunging to new depths of "cheap journalism" by putting sensational headlines. Would request readers to have a look at this http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6319439.stm
India too is going blindly the Western way. Indeed a decadent culture...
Apart from other problems, one big problem I recently encountered was a person sitting next to me emitting filthy gases. I had to walk out of the theater and he enjoyed the movie.

Gosh... rediff sucks... its outrageous... I think the rediff employees and even the employers need some serious training on journalism.....
The best thing to reduce this is to arrange baby sitters & fun area just out side the movie hall with lots of entertainment for each age group.(of course at a price) This way the parents will be peacefully able to watch a movie no nuisance for others and the babies will also be happy playing outside with their own age group kids and... This can be easily implemented someone should advice movie halls for this exciting business opportunity

Wailing babies cannot be called a Nuisance at all, They are babies and it is natural of them to wail also it is natural for parents to get them to the Cinemas as they deserve to watch the movies on big screens considering the small atomic family culture we have and if somebody has a contenion to this point either he comes from the western world or does not think Humanly.
I am afraid Rediff should change the lines quickly to accomodate this.
As for the rest Yes I agree that they need to dealt with in some fashion. Frankly most people enjoy though they want to complain about it, I mean the nuisance. People go to a movie to enjoy and be entertained and if you getting that in the cinema hall as well free of cost why not enjoy it. You want to watch a movie without nuisance buy a home theatre sit back and relax. If you cant afford it be part of the janata party and have fun. Cut the chase guys this is no topic for discussion.
