How do I train to be a pilot?
by Ashok Chhibbar on Feb 04, 2007 09:11 AM  | Hide replies

Its quite easy really. You have to undergo ground school and flying training, appear and pass the relevant exams held by the DGCA. Flying training is cheapest in India and within India it is cheapest at Academy of Carver Aviation,Baramati. The Academy has outsourced its ground school to a professional organisation called Blue Diamond Aviation at Pune. The total cost works out to approx Rs.10.5 lakhs (ground school flying exams). So if you have the will, we'll show you the way.

Dear Sirs, The M.P.Flying Club Limited, Indore is India's one of the oldest and largest flying training institute. It has been recognised as the Best Club for years in a row. I was shocked by not seeing its name in your list of clubs in India. Pradeep S. Joshi (Ex-Director, M.P.Flying Club Ltd.)

Pilot Training
by Ashok Chhibbar on Feb 03, 2007 09:21 AM  | Hide replies

Dear Richa,
Some of your information above is out dated. For example, you need to fly only 200 hours for a CPL from 2006 onwards and The Academy of Carver Aviation has long since shifted to Baramati, near Pune. Also, to appear for the DGCA exam, you have to do atleast 350 hours of ground school in the 5 subjects. (This is applicable from August 2006). Further, one cannot appear for the DGCA exam unless one has flown 10 hours for PPL and 50 for CPL. For further info, contact us at bluediamondaviation@rediffmail.com. Regards - Director.

Want to be a Pilot?
by ashok dharam chhibbar on Jan 31, 2007 10:33 AM

No one is a "born Pilot". One has to train both in aviation subjects and flying under experienced and well qualified instructors. There is one such place called Blue Diamond Aviation at Pune which is the official ground school of DGCA approved Academy of Carver Aviation, Baramati. At Blue Diamond Aviation, the sky is NOT the limit! The instructors are the best in the country and their collective experience surpasses all other institutions.

First you have to be a expert driver..
Learning flights can be done by having a virtual reality machine that is virtual reality flights and all possibilities happening in flights must be tarined in that machine.. Afterwards we can have a flight..It is computersied like video games..
