Sunder there are many answers in the article along with that i totally agree with Alok when he says a real time exposure to the market is required. One may have had theoritical knowledge but the ones who have solutions beyond books only survive in todays highly competetive environment. One not only needs zeal and enthusiasm to be successful but also a business mind to succeed in new business. It requires ability to find solutions, ability to develop teams and ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve the organisational objective.

Good informative article, it is full of answers today's young entrepreneurs are trying to find, I agree to the idea once you demonstrate that you have succesful plans and ideas, investors make a line behind you.

Good article and extracts from the interview
by Rahul Singhvi on Jan 22, 2007 08:00 PM

Hey Sunder, This is very informative. Keep up the good work! U simply ROCK!!! I have something to add here... I'm of the opinion that even though one does not have "ENOUGH" experience / expertise (in terms of domain knowledge) and if he/she or a venture capitalist thinks that one needs to spend time in market, I completely DISAGREE with this. Today, economy is on a fast track and the cost of taking RISK is very cheap in country like INDIA. If one is able to spot the gap and has a good potential solution, I think he/she should take that RISK which is worthwhile. Experience / Expertise can be PURCHASED from the market and is immensely available around us. It%u2019s the zeal of becoming an entrepreneur & ability to stand by it is what counts!

Regards, Rahul Singhvi
