Soft Skills
by pallavi on Jan 09, 2007 01:58 PM

I thank god that I have none of the above and I am doing fine in whatever I do. If the list is to be strictly followed then I would have to hire 10 people with atleast 6 skills to do a single job. How come it is on rediff should be the first skill set question? Any answers????

The Top 60 soft skills at work

After going through the list of 60 Soft skills required at work let me make 2 observations:
1. In India we possess only 50% (or less) of the skills required
2. The need to acquire and practice these skills MUST start at the top. It's only by action on the part of Top Management that employees will be motivated to practice them too.

What a joke?
by Vinay on Jan 09, 2007 02:24 AM

The article seems to have been copy pasted from somewhere without even trying to understand what it is all about. Also, a big question mark over rediff editor's capabilities who is undermining their own credibility by publishing something totally unbearable. May be it was intended as a joke just like the movie Borat.

Funny Article

Funny article… If I have these 60 soft skills then I wouldn’t look under somebody or company. Is driving license is soft skill ? I hope he means driving license paper?

Pt. 12 Follow rules. Next point is Self-directed. What kind of conflict?. Pt. 1 math’s. and pt. 18 is advanced math ..so much of difference between the points? 51. Willingness to work second and third shifts. Is this is soft skills. Author don’t be so funny and don’t waste your time and out time…. Any body can write this kind of article…

Only one point from me be sensible while writing something like this and don’t confuse or misguide the fresher. For the CEO and Managing director and HR personal only robot can be solution for you and not the human being.
