the union budget does not have any info on 2005-2006 - let alone any happenings as of this moment on the budget for 2007-2008. Can someone update the site..? cheers, Amit.
As the Finance Minister is preparing to present the budget tomorrow. The important question is will there be increase in Income Tax ceiling. It is time that the Government should raise the IT limit to 2 lakhs. The next pertinent issue is Interim Relief. As the Sixth Pay Commission is constituted. Employees in Central Government offices are waiting for the Interim Rellief. It is hoped the Budget will not be harsh this year.
